====== Network boot configuration ====== * For **one time boot from network card**. * Usually there is a **Boot Menu** that is activated on pc startup by pressing a function key like **F10**, **F11**, or **F12** * For **permanent boot from network card**, we enter BIOS after pressing **del** key or suitable function key. - We locate **onboard LAN boot option** and set it to enabled. It is usually an option like **Boot from LAN** ή **PXE boot** - Then we set network card as 1st boot device. It is usually on a menu like **Boot Settings**, **Boot Devices** or **Boot Priority** * We can setup **Wake on LAN** (optionally, to be able to wake the client PCs from server) - It is usually an option like **wake from pci device** (usually on acpi or power settings)
